before anything, set your machine to 300 amps before connecting the receiver.
this setup is for diesel Miller machines.
once your machine is set at 300, connect the receiver so you can start the setup.
to set up your remote:
press and hold the enter button (black button) until the sub-menu pops up
press enter again to enter the mode setup
use the up/down buttons to navigate the menu
select mode 4 or 5
you’ll see 3 segments plus a confirm option
set each segment one by one
enter the first segment
you’ll go into another sub-menu
scroll all the way up to mini — don’t press anything yet
look at your machine — it’ll show two different numbers fluctuating
those numbers are what you enter for your mini and your max
sometimes the exact numbers match
other times you might need to go 2 higher or 2 lower
once you dial in the first segment, you’ll see how it reacts
repeat the same steps for the other two segments
start with the exact numbers
if the machine is off by about 3 amps, adjust slightly up or down
once all 3 segments are programmed, select confirm
your machine is ready to run
this setup is only for diesel Miller machines or machines that show the numbers changing as you adjust the remote.
for electric Miller machines:
set your machine to max (your maximum amps), put the remote on mode 1 (0–100 percent), and run it like normal.
for Lincoln machines:
you don’t need to set the machine to 300.
just max out the machine and repeat the same setup process, but use modes 6 and 7.
